Scott Lynn is a part owner of Gracon LLC, a company he and partners acquired in 2014. Gracon is a niche contractor specializing in heavy mechanical work and the food industry, and owns a majority interest in Dahlgren Industrial, which performs dairy work across the US, and industrial work for Boeing. Scott and his daughter Kelsey also own a controlling interest in AMS Industrial, which performs mechanical repair work on dams.

Scott and partners own approximately 20,000 acres of organic farmland, and Sunrise Flour, which is a heritage wheat brand.

Over his career, Scott has run two large heavy civil construction companies as President and CEO. From 2003-2013, Scott was the President and CEO of Guy F. Atkinson Construction, with operations in numerous states in the western US. Before joining Atkinson, Scott served as President and CEO of Flatiron Construction for 21 years. During the period Scott was chief executive and a significant owner in Flatiron, the company achieved revenue growth from $5 million per year to $600 million per year.

Scott has also been active in numerous private equity investments in oil and gas services, real estate, cell towers, renewable natural gas, and other areas.

Scott received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University, an MS in engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and was the 2014 recipient of the Golden Beaver Award for Management. Scott is married to Ingrid, and they joyfully share 5 children and 7 grandchildren.
